Customs Clearance Specialist

<b>Al-Jihat Al-Arba’a Company</b> is seeking a highly skilled and motivated <b>Customs Clearance Specialist</b> to join our logistics and operations team in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and compliant movement of goods through customs by managing documentation, coordinating with regulatory authorities, and leading a team of clearance professionals. This role demands a deep understanding of customs regulations, tariff classification (tabnid), and bilingual reporting capabilities.

<b>Key Responsibilities:</b> <br>

• Oversee and execute the end-to-end customs clearance process for inbound and outbound shipments. <br>
• Ensure full compliance with Saudi customs regulations and international trade laws. <br>
• Accurately classify goods using the Harmonized System (HS) codes and manage tariff coding (tabnid) procedures. <br>
• Prepare and submit all required documentation, including commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and customs declarations. <br>
• Generate and maintain detailed daily and weekly reports in both Arabic and English. <br>
• Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and internal departments to resolve clearance issues promptly. <br>
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of clearance staff to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. <br>
• Monitor changes in customs laws and update internal procedures accordingly. <br> <br> <b>- Qualifications & Requirements:</b> <br>
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in customs clearance operations. <br>
• At least 2 years of experience in tariff classification (tabnid). <br>
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both spoken and written, is essential. <br>
• Proven ability to draft professional reports and correspondence in both languages. <br>
• Strong leadership skills with experience in team supervision and performance management. <br>
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. <br>
• Proficiency in customs clearance software and Microsoft Office tools is a plus
