About the Role
To provide expert anesthetic care and airway management in emergency situations, trauma cases, and critical interventions. The Anesthesiology Specialist supports emergency teams with life-saving procedures and plays a vital role in pain management, rapid intubation, and perioperative stabilization in urgent care scenarios.
Requirements
<b>Key Responsibilities:</b> <br>
- Perform rapid sequence induction, emergency intubation, and advanced airway management in critical settings. <br>
- Provide anesthetic support during emergency surgeries or trauma procedures. <br>
- Monitor and stabilize patients requiring sedation, analgesia, or intensive resuscitation in the ER. <br>
- Collaborate closely with emergency physicians, ICU staff, and surgeons to ensure patient safety. <br>
- Support the pain management protocols in acute trauma and emergency settings. <br>
- Assist with pre-operative assessments for patients undergoing emergency interventions. <br>
- Supervise and guide junior anesthesiology staff and nurses in critical care practices. <br>
- Maintain accurate patient charts and anesthesia records using EMR systems. <br>
- Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards and international anesthesiology guidelines. <br> <b>- Interactions & Collaboration Internal:</b> Works closely with Emergency Medicine, ICU, Surgery, and Radiology Departments. <br> <b>- External:</b> Coordinates with ambulance/emergency transport teams when needed. <br> <br> <b>- Requirements:</b> <br>
