Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the full spectrum of accounting functions within a reputable Joinery, Fit-Out, and Construction organization. The ideal candidate will bring over 5 years of relevant industry experience, demonstrating expertise in financial operations, reconciliations, client billing, and month-end/year-end closing procedures. This role is pivotal in ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and seamless coordination between departments to maintain the integrity of the organization's financial records.

<b>Key Responsibilities:</b> <br>

• Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure timely recording of all financial transactions. <br>
• Handle full-cycle month-end closing and preparation of accurate financial statements. <br>
• Ensure prompt invoicing to clients and actively follow up on outstanding collections and payments. <br>
• Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, intercompany transactions, and other key accounts. <br>
• Monitor and validate bank transactions, preparing relevant documentation for internal records and submission to banks. <br>
• Liaise with various departments to gather and verify financial data for accurate bookkeeping. <br>
• Support internal audits and assist in the development of internal control measures. <br>
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies. <br>
• Utilize accounting software for transaction recording and financial reporting with precision and efficiency. <br> <br> <b>- Requirements:</b> <br>
  ++ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. <br> ++ Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in Joinery, Fit-Out, or Construction industries (UAE experience preferred). <br> ++ Strong command over general ledger accounting, financial reconciliation, and closing processes. <br> ++ Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills. <br> ++ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy. <br> ++ Strong interpersonal communication to coordinate across departments and external stakeholders.
