Procurement Officer

We are looking for a results-driven <b>Procurement Officer</b> with a proven track record in the Joinery and Fit-Out sector to take ownership of the end-to-end procurement cycle. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in sourcing quality materials and services, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining cost-effective procurement strategies while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. This position demands a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can manage vendor relationships, support project timelines, and contribute to the company’s operational efficiency. <br> <br> <b>++Salary:</b> 8000 to 9000 AED

<b>Key Responsibilities:</b> <br>

• Handle the entire procurement cycle, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials required for ongoing joinery and fit-out projects. <br>
• Prepare and process purchase orders, inquiries, and contracts, ensuring timely deliveries aligned with project schedules. <br>
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, pricing, delivery timelines, and compliance with specifications. <br>
• Maintain an up-to-date database of vendors and materials with documented pricing and delivery records. <br>
• Analyze purchase requisitions and coordinate with project and production teams to align procurement plans with project milestones. <br>
• Review material submittals for technical compliance and coordinate with design/engineering for approvals. <br>
• Stay abreast of local and international procurement regulations, trade compliance, and cost control measures. <br>
• Coordinate with logistics and finance teams for material receipt, invoicing, and payment processes. <br>
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement through strategic sourcing and vendor negotiation. <br> <br>

<b>- Candidate Requirements:</b> <br>

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. <br>
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in the Joinery or Fit-Out industry, ideally within the UAE. <br>
• Deep understanding of procurement workflows, vendor management, and construction materials. <br>
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate technical requirements and supplier capabilities. <br>
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to ensure favorable contract terms. <br>
• Familiarity with procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office tools. <br>
• High attention to detail, organizational discipline, and an ability to work under tight deadlines. .
