Officer | Hardware Engineering

A reputed pharmaceutical company in Daman is looking for a skilled and dependable Officer – Hardware Engineering to oversee IT hardware infrastructure across the facility. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of hardware systems, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting practices to ensure operational continuity and data security.

<b>Key Responsibilities:</b> <br>

• Manage and maintain all hardware assets, including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and networking equipment. <br>
• Provide timely technical support for hardware-related issues and coordinate system repairs with vendors. <br>
• Monitor system performance and maintain an organized hardware asset inventory. <br>
• Set up and configure workstations, ensuring connectivity and software functionality. <br>
• Implement preventive maintenance procedures and troubleshoot recurring technical issues. <br>
• Collaborate with software and ERP teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware with applications. <br>

• Ensure IT hardware complies with safety, regulatory and pharmaceutical industry standards.

<b>- Candidate Profile:</b> <br>

• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in hardware engineering, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sectors. <br>
• Strong knowledge of hardware diagnostics, networking fundamentals, and IT security protocols. <br>
• Familiarity with ERP environments and hardware compatibility is an added advantage. <br>
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently under pressure. <br>
• Good communication, documentation, and reporting skills. <br>
• Willingness to be based in Daman and take ownership of on-site IT hardware support.
