About the Role
The General Manager – Accounts & Finance will oversee the strategic and operational functions of the finance department within a polymer manufacturing enterprise. This position demands a seasoned finance professional capable of driving financial planning, managing statutory obligations, streamlining cost structures, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Requirements
<b>Key Responsibilities:</b> <br>
- Lead and manage the entire financial and accounting function, aligning with company goals and industry standards. <br>
- Develop and implement financial strategies to enhance organizational performance and profitability. <br>
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and statutory reports. <br>
- Oversee tax planning, audits, and regulatory compliance under Indian financial laws and manufacturing norms. <br>
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive investment analysis, risk management, and cost optimization. <br>
- Monitor internal controls and institute best practices for accounting systems and reporting processes. <br>
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and financial institutions to support organizational initiatives and growth. <br>

Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering performance excellence and cross-functional collaboration.

<b>- Candidate Profile:</b> <br>
- Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a proven track record in manufacturing finance. <br>
- Strong command of financial principles, regulatory frameworks, and SAP or ERP systems. <br>
- Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills. <br>
- Ability to operate at a strategic level while maintaining a detailed grasp of operational elements.
