About the Role
The <b>General Accountant</b> will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance with industry and regulatory standards. This role plays a critical part in managing daily transactions, reconciliations, budgeting, and financial controls—especially within marine or industrial project environments.
Requirements
<b>Key Responsibilities:</b> <br>
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers <br>
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements <br>
- Handle accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations <br>
- Monitor company expenditures and assist in budget planning <br>
- Process payroll and manage general ledger entries <br>
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors <br>
- Ensure VAT filing and ZATCA compliance <br>
- Communicate with internal departments to support financial clarity and decision-making <br>

Coordinate with project teams to align accounting practices for marine or industrial operations

<b>- Qualifications Required:</b> <br>
- Minimum <b>3 years of accounting experience</b>, preferably in <b>marine or industrial sectors</b> <br>
- Bachelor’s degree in <b>Accounting</b>, <b>Finance</b>, or a related field <br>
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar) <br>
- Strong understanding of Saudi financial regulations, ZATCA, and tax policies <br>
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills <br>
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
