About the Role
The <b>Safety Officer</b> will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety measures across the site, in strict alignment with Saudi Aramco standards and national regulations. This role requires proactive engagement with workforce teams, engineers, and management to ensure a culture of safety and regulatory compliance in high-risk environments.
Requirements
<b>Key Responsibilities:</b> <br>
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and risk assessments <br>
- Enforce and monitor compliance with safety protocols and procedures <br>
- Deliver safety inductions and toolbox talks to workers <br>
- Report near misses, incidents, and propose corrective actions <br>
- Maintain and audit documentation for health and safety programs <br>
- Liaise with project management and engineering teams to address safety concerns <br>
- Ensure emergency preparedness procedures are clearly communicated and accessible <br>
- Verify appropriate use of PPE and conduct safety drills regularly <br>

Prepare monthly safety performance reports for client and internal review

<b>- Qualifications & Competencies:</b> <br>
- Minimum <b>3 years of experience</b> in site safety roles, preferably in industrial or construction environments <br>
- Must be <b>Saudi Aramco-approved Safety Officer</b> <br>
- Strong knowledge of <b>occupational health and safety standards</b>, including OSHA and Saudi regulations <br>
- Familiarity with incident reporting systems and safety software tools <br>
- Effective communication and leadership skills <br>
- Ability to train, motivate, and influence cross-functional site teams <br>
- Valid certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent preferred <br>
- Proficiency in English required; Arabic is a plus
