MANAGER INFECTION PREVENTION & CONTROL

The <b>Manager of Infection Control</b> is responsible for planning and implementing organization-wide strategies to manage infection control risks. This role directly impacts patient care and ensures a safe environment for patients, visitors & staff.

<b>Job Responsibilities:</b> <br>

• Enforce compliance with infection control policies through audits, education, and communication <br>
• Review surveillance data and record infection rates accurately <br>
• Implement corrective actions and ensure sustainability <br>
• Support all departments with infection control protocols <br>
• Coordinate departmental meetings and resource allocation <br>
• Prepare Risk Assessments and Strategic Plans <br>
• Oversee competency assessments for all staff <br>
• Ensure timely communication and action for infection-related activities <br>
• Lead and manage the Infection Control team <br> <br>

• Effective collaboration with hospital teams <br>
• Strong analytical and communication skills <br>

<b>- Qualifications:</b> <br>

• <b>Academic:</b> Bachelors/Masters <br>
• <b>Professional:</b> Registered Nurse & Midwife, 3-month Infection Control Certificate <br>
• Preferred: Certification in CID <br>
• <b>Experience:</b> 6 years as Assistant Manager Infection Control
