Estimation Engineer

A well-established company in Jeddah is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented <b>Estimation Engineer</b> to join its <b>Electromechanical Department.</b> The ideal candidate will have a strong background in <b>MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) & piping systems</b>, with proven experience in cost estimation within the Saudi market. This role offers flexibility in work setup and a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

<b>Key Responsibilities:</b> <br>

• Develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for MEP and piping works <br>
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to determine scope and quantities <br>
• Conduct market research to update material and manpower pricing in Saudi Arabia <br>
• Collaborate with design, procurement, and project teams to prepare comprehensive bids <br>
• Review tender documents and identify opportunities for cost optimization <br>
• Prepare comparison sheets for evaluating suppliers and subcontractors <br>
• Contribute to value engineering initiatives by proposing cost-effective alternatives <br>

• Support project planning through quantity take-offs and detailed estimation breakdowns

<b>- Qualifications & Skills:</b> <br>

| Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering <br> | Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Saudi Arabia <br> | Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of MEP and piping systems <br> | Market Awareness: Familiarity with Saudi material and labor pricing trends <br> | Software Proficiency: MS Excel, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or equivalent estimation tools <br> | Attention to Detail: High accuracy in calculations and documentation <br> | Communication & Time Management: Effective communication and ability to meet deadlines independently
