About the Role
The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in coordinating and executing infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. This role involves working alongside experienced Senior Project Managers to ensure effective project planning, budgeting, scheduling, stakeholder management, and quality assurance, ensuring projects meet Zutari’s standards and client expectations.
The Assistant Project Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining project momentum, tracking progress, and identifying potential risks. This position supports our vision of investing in local talent and meeting Saudization requirements and is therefore reserved for Saudi nationals.
Requirements
<b>Key Responsibilities:</b> <br>
- Project Coordination and Planning Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets. <br>
- Ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, and Zutari’s standards. Coordinate with various project teams (engineering, procurement, and site teams) to ensure timely delivery. <br> <br> <b>- Stakeholder Communication and Management </b> <br>
- Support the Project Manager in liaising with clients, regulatory bodies, subcontractors, and vendors. Prepare and present project updates, reports, and documentation for stakeholders. <br>
- Facilitate meetings, track action items, and follow up with relevant parties. <br>
- Risk and Issue Management. <br> <br> <b>- Monitor project risks and potential issues; escalate as necessary: </b> <br>
- Assist in implementing mitigation strategies to prevent delays and cost overruns. <br>
- Support in tracking project deviations and providing solutions for realignment. Budget and Financial Tracking. <br> <br> <b>- Assist with financial management tasks, such as tracking expenses against the budget: </b> <br> <br>
- Monitor project expenditures, process invoices, and help with project financial reporting. Quality Control and Compliance <br> <br>
<b>- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards: </b> <br>

Support in coordinating internal and external audits as required. <br>

Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date. <br> <br> <b>- Documentation and Reporting: </b> <br>

Prepare, organize, and maintain project documents, reports, and logs. <br>

Support the preparation of progress reports and presentations for internal and client reviews. <br>

Track project KPIs, progress, and timelines; ensure accurate records for project close-out.
<br> <br> <b>- Qualifications & Requirements:</b> <br>

Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Project Management, or a related field. <br>

A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, ideally within infrastructure, architecture, engineering, or construction sectors. <br> <br> <b>- Technical Skills: </b> <br>

Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, or other project scheduling software. <br>

Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design and engineering tools is a plus. <br>

Project Knowledge: Understanding of infrastructure projects, including roads, highways, utilities, or urban development. <br>

Certifications: PMP or CAPM certification (preferred but not mandatory). <br>
