About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee invoicing operations and manage client relationships for high-value, multi-scope government contracts. This role involves close coordination with Finance, Operations, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure billing accuracy, prompt issue resolution, and ongoing process optimization at the local level.
Requirements
<b>Key Responsibilities:</b> <br>
- Oversee the complete invoicing cycle for complex, multi-scope government projects. <br>
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding billing inquiries and payment follow-ups. <br>
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Project Management) to collect billing data and confirm scope accuracy. <br>
- Maintain detailed records of billing timelines, contract terms, and client correspondence. <br>
- Drive improvements in local billing workflows and client engagement strategies. <br>
- Compile and present billing summaries and reconciliation reports to senior leadership. <br>

Ensure adherence to financial policies, audit standards, and contractual obligations.

<b>- Qualifications & Experience:</b> <br>
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in accounting, with a strong emphasis on invoicing and client relationship management. <br>
- Demonstrated success in managing financial operations for Mega and Giga government initiatives. <br>
- Fluency in Arabic is essential for effective communication with clients and stakeholders. <br>
- Deep understanding of contract-based billing frameworks and financial reporting standards. <br>
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused mindset. <br>
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. <br>
- Must hold SOCPA membership and a recognized professional accounting certification.
