About the Role
We are seeking an Instructional Designer to join the Program Development & Evaluation Division (PD&ED).
Program Development & Evaluation Division is responsible for providing and developing performance-based world-class learning solutions that sustain our evolving Saudi workforce.
As an Instructional Designer Your primary role is to conduct learning needs assessment, design, develop, implement, and evaluate training programs.
Requirements
<b>Key Responsibilities:</b> <br> As a successful candidate you will be required to perform the following: <br>
- Perform research and data analysis on training gaps, needs, and programs effectiveness. <br>
- Research on instructional design mythologies, trends, tools, and training technologies. <br>
- Design and develop curriculum and instructional material using existing and utilizing emerging technologies such as: Interactive Voice Response (IVR), Mixed Reality (MR), and Artificial Intelligence (AI). <br>
- Design and develop assessments and other evaluation instruments on Structured tests, quizzes, interviews, and surveys for training programs. <br>
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts, proponents, vendors, and teaching and technical staff to pilot, implement, and evaluate curricula and delivery methodologies in training centers. <br>
- Conduct train-the-trainer sessions for training delivery staff to ensure that all learning and assessment material is used effectively. <br>
- Plan, monitor, and report on the development and execution of curriculum development, evaluation, training technology selection, and deployment projects. <br>
- Conduct site visits to training centers to provide feedback and support, and submit site visit reports. Develop reports and proposals related to the future of training and evaluation programs. <br> <br> <b>- Minimum Requirements: </b> <br> As a successful candidate you will hold a: <br>
- Bachelor of Arts or Science in Education, Mathematics, Engineering, Physical Sciences, or a Technical/Trade/Vocational discipline from an accredited university. <br>
- Minimum of 12 years of work experience, including 5 years in Instructional Design, Teaching, or Vocational Training. <br>
- Ability to demonstrate experience in instructional design, including the development of classroom based learning, e-learning, m-learning and blended learning solutions for a technical workforce.
