We are currently recruiting a proficient Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor to spearhead and oversee the strategic implementation of preventive maintenance protocols across our extensive fleet of vehicles and heavy equipment. This critical role is indispensable in ensuring operational readiness, upholding rigorous safety standards, and optimizing efficiency within our workshop facilities and at diverse job sites.
Requirements
<b>Job Responsibilities:</b> <br>
- Lead and Supervise: Provide strategic oversight to a dedicated team of Maintenance Technicians, ensuring seamless operations and optimal productivity. <br>
- Maintenance Oversight: Oversee routine preventive maintenance of heavy vehicles and equipment, ensuring unwavering operational reliability. <br>
- Spare Parts Coordination: Orchestrate spare parts requisitions by ensuring prompt procurement and timely communication of updates. <br>
- Reporting: Compile, analyze and submit comprehensive weekly reports detailing the maintenance status of all vehicles and equipment. <br>
- Fleet Management: Vigilantly monitor the usage of fleet resources, identifying and reporting any instances of misuse or improper handling. <br>
- Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous inspections of vehicles, ensuring that all preventive maintenance tasks are completed before transferring them to the Operations team. <br>
- Resource Procurement: Liaise with suppliers to secure all requisite tools and materials essential for efficient maintenance operations. <br>
- Collaborative Supervision: Work closely with the Corrective Maintenance Supervisor and the Maintenance Section Head to oversee and coordinate on-site repairs. <br>
- Pre Maintenance Verification: Ensure the availability of all necessary spare parts and tools ahead of scheduled maintenance activities. <br>
- Documentation: Execute the planned preventive maintenance schedule meticulously, recording any deviations or delays and their underlying causes. <br> <br>
<b>- Qualifications:</b> <br>
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Diploma in Mechanical or Automotive fields. <br>
- Proven experience in supervising vehicle and heavy equipment maintenance operations. <br>
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills. <br>
- The ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet stringent deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
