HSE Officer

We are hiring a qualified and experienced HSE Officer to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across our projects in Riyaddh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will lead the implementation of HSE policies, conduct risk assessments, deliver training, and ensure full adherence to Saudi regulations and international standards. This role is critical to maintaining a safe and legally compliant work environment while promoting a proactive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures across all project sites
• Conduct regular risk assessments, site inspections, and internal audits
• Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs to staff and contractors
• Ensure compliance with Saudi HSE laws and international standards (ISO, OSHA, etc.)
• Maintain accurate records of safety performance, incidents, and training activities
• Coordinate with project managers and site teams to enforce safety protocols
• Identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures
• Liaise with government bodies and regulatory authorities when required
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement across all departments

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience (preferably in construction or industrial sectors)
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
• Mandatory certifications: NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor
• Strong knowledge of Saudi HSE laws, regulations, and reporting standards
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in incident investigation and root cause analysis
• Ability to train and engage teams in safety practices
• Must be currently residing in Saudi Arabia
