About the Role
We are actively seeking a distinguished and seasoned Safety Officer to become an integral part of our team. This position demands exceptional expertise in health, safety, and environmental practices, ensuring rigorous compliance standards are upheld across all project sites.
Requirements
<b>Responsibilities:</b> <br>
- Design and execute comprehensive HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and procedures that align with both local regulations and international standards.
<br> - Conduct routine safety audits, meticulous site inspections, and in depth risk assessments to ensure a hazard free environment.
<br> - Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks through practical and effective corrective measures. <br>
- Lead thorough investigations into incidents, providing detailed reports that include root cause analysis and actionable recommendations.
<br> - Deliver impactful safety training sessions and regular toolbox talks for workers and supervisors, fostering a culture of safety.
<br> - Ensure the proper placement and enforcement of all safety signage, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and emergency protocols. <br>
- Oversee contractor activities to guarantee strict adherence to safety procedures and standards.
<br> - Maintain accurate and organized records of safety documentation, including permits, inspection logs, reports, and training attendance.
<br> - Collaborate seamlessly with consultants, clients, and regulatory bodies during audits or inspections. <br>
- Contribute to the development of robust Emergency Response Plans and actively participate in drills to enhance preparedness.
<br> <br> <b>Qualifications & Requirements:</b> <br> - NEBOSH IGC Certification: a mandatory credential. <br>
- SBG and DAR Approval: a non negotiable requirement. <br>
- At least 5 years of proven experience in safety supervision within the construction or infrastructure sector in Saudi Arabia. <br>
- Deep understanding of Saudi safety regulations, OSHA standards, and global best practices. <br>
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across diverse teams. <br>
- Strong ability to craft clear, concise, and professional reports and documentation.
<br> - Proficiency in Arabic is advantageous but not mandatory.

Residency in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama is required.
