About the Role
The Fabricator is a skilled tradesperson responsible for the precision cutting, shaping, and assembly of metal materials (such as structural steel, piping, and plates) according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and project specifications. This role is critical in the construction and maintenance of industrial facilities.
Duty: Room to Room (Accommodation and transportation are typically provided as part of the total compensation package/duty arrangement, often door-to-door or camp to job site.)

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpretation of Drawings: Read and accurately interpret complex engineering blueprints, technical drawings (e.g., isometric and schematic diagrams), and specifications to determine material requirements, layout, and sequence of fabrication.
- Material Preparation: Measure, cut, bend, and shape metal materials using various tools and machinery, including plate shears, press brakes, plasma cutters, cutting torches, and grinding equipment.
- Fit-up and Assembly: Perform precise fitting and temporary tack-welding of components to form final structures or sections, ensuring dimensional accuracy and correct alignment as per tolerance requirements before final welding.
- Quality Control: Conduct in-process checks and inspections on dimensions and fit-up to ensure compliance with relevant industry codes (e.g., ASME, AWS) and Aramco standards.
- Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and ensure the proper functioning and calibration of fabrication tools and equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all site safety regulations, company procedures, and particularly Saudi Aramco safety standards and practices (e.g., work permits, rigging, and lifting procedures).
Mandatory Requirement
- Aramco Approval is mandatory for both positions. Candidates must possess valid, current approval/certification recognized by Saudi Aramco for their respective roles.
