Network Technician

We are hiring on behalf of a renowned technology and telecommunication company seeking an experienced Senior Network Technician to support and enhance its network infrastructure. This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity based in Makkah. <br> <br>

<b>About the Role: </b> <br>

As a Senior Network Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network systems to ensure seamless operations. You will play a key role in network optimization, security, and performance monitoring, working closely with cross-functional teams to support business-critical communication and connectivity.

<b>Key Responsibilities: </b> <br>

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, software, and related systems. <br>
• Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks. <br>
• Conduct network performance analysis and implement optimizations for efficiency. <br>
• Ensure network security compliance and assist in mitigating cyber threats. Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to implement new networking solutions. <br>
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients. <br>
• Maintain network documentation, configurations, and incident reports. Support network upgrades, migrations, and expansions as needed. <br> <br>

<b>- Qualifications: </b> <br>

• Proven experience as a Network Technician, Network Engineer, or similar role. <br>
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, and VPNs. Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or other networking hardware. <br>
• Expertise in firewall configuration, network security, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with cloud networking and hybrid infrastructure setups. <br>
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills. <br>
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus. <br>
• Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage). <br>
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Telecommunications, or a related field. <br> <br>
