Fiber Optic Technician

We are seeking a skilled and committed Fiber Optic Technician to join our team in Jubail. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional passionate about cutting-edge fiber optic technologies and delivering high-performance network solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cables across various applications including FTTH, FTTx, and backbone networks.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs using specialized tools such as OTDR, power meters, and light sources.
• Accurately interpret network schematics, splice plans, and technical drawings.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and submit timely reports on system performance and diagnostics.
• Maintain comprehensive daily logs and documentation of completed tasks.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and quality benchmarks.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in fiber optic installation, testing, and maintenance.
• Certification in Fiber Optic Technology is mandatory (e.g., CFOT, CFOS, or equivalent).
• Proficient in fiber splicing, OTDR analysis, and termination techniques.
• Solid understanding of both OSP (Outside Plant) and ISP (Inside Plant) fiber infrastructure.
• Physically capable of working in diverse environments, including confined spaces and elevated locations.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Must possess a transferable Iqama and be available for immediate joining.
