About the Role
Zaadar Markets is seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead its facility upkeep and technical support operations. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth functioning of all physical assets, including electrical systems, HVAC units, plumbing, and general infrastructure across our retail branches and warehouses.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of technicians, coordinating daily maintenance tasks, and responding swiftly to urgent repair needs. Strong leadership, field mobility, and a hands-on approach are essential. The Maintenance Supervisor will also play a key role in preventive maintenance planning, vendor coordination, and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide maintenance staff across multiple locations
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities
- Respond to emergency repair requests and ensure timely resolution
- Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers for specialized services
- Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities and equipment status
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate
- Report performance metrics and maintenance costs to management
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance supervision or facility management
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a technical team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work under pressure and perform field visits as needed
- High level of commitment to punctuality and work ethics
- Familiarity with basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems is a plus
- Arabic language proficiency preferred; English communication skills are an asset
