About the Role

We are seeking a proficient and detail-oriented <b>Data Entry Operator</b> with strong expertise in SAP systems and inventory management, preferably within the construction or contracting industry. The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to overseeing material movement, ensuring stock accuracy, and optimizing operational workflows across our warehouse and project sites.

Requirements

<b>Responsibilities:</b> <br>

  1. Inventory & Stock Management: <br>
    • Maintain meticulous records of all incoming and outgoing stock utilizing SAP systems. <br>
    • Update inventory logs and material stock levels promptly, ensuring real-time accuracy. <br>
    • Organize and tag materials methodically to enable efficient retrieval and minimize wastage. <br>
    • Conduct routine and surprise physical stock audits, reconciling findings with SAP data.

    • Alert relevant departments when inventory levels fall below established thresholds.

  2. Warehouse Operations & Material Handling: <br>
    • Supervise the unloading, inspection, tagging, and systematic stacking of construction materials. <br>
    • Implement safe storage practices with precise labeling to prevent degradation of materials. <br>
    • Uphold safety protocols to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to HSE standards. <br>
    • Manage the issuance and dispatch of materials based on approved Material Requisition Forms (MRF).

  3. SAP System Expertise: <br>
    • Leverage SAP ERP systems to log goods receipts (GRN), material issuance, stock adjustments, and transfers. <br>
    • Analyze inventory trends and provide support to procurement teams for strategic material planning. <br>
    • Generate detailed SAP-based reports, including stock movement analysis, aging inventory insights, usage tracking, and audit documentation. <br>
    • Collaborate with finance and procurement departments to finalize GRNs and address discrepancies in material records.

  4. Documentation & Reporting: <br>
    • Maintain precise documentation of material movement and transactions with unwavering accuracy. <br>
    • Ensure proper filing and organization of delivery notes, inspection reports, and issue vouchers. <br>
    • Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management review and decision-making.

  5. Compliance, Safety & Organization: <br>
    • Enforce strict adherence to material handling, safety, and housekeeping regulations. <br>
    • Maintain warehouse and storage areas in a clean, organized, and accessible state at all times. <br>
    • Identify and segregate damaged or expired materials for proper disposal in line with company protocols. <br> <br> <br>
  6. Collaboration Across Teams: <br>
    • Serve as a liaison between site engineers, procurement teams, and accounts departments to ensure seamless stock planning and issue validation. <br>
    • Provide logistical support to project managers for effective material tracking and order fulfillment.

  7. Process Optimization & System Improvements: <br>
    • Propose innovative solutions to enhance inventory accuracy, streamline cycle counting procedures, and improve SAP efficiency. <br>
    • Stay abreast of SAP system updates and recommend the implementation of beneficial new functionalities.

<b>- Requirements: </b> <br>

Education: <br>

  • Minimum: High School Diploma. <br>
  • Preferred: Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain. <br> <br> Experience: <br>
  • At least 2/3 years of experience in inventory or storekeeping roles, preferably within the construction sector. <br>
  • Proven expertise in SAP (MM module or equivalent) for material management. <br>
  • Familiarity with construction tools, fittings, and civil/mechanical materials.
    <br> Skills & Competencies: <br>
  • Advanced proficiency with SAP ERP systems and strong computer literacy. <br>
  • Comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control practices. <br>
  • Basic knowledge of financial documentation associated with inventory management. <br>
  • Exceptional organizational skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail. <br>
  • Ability to multitask effectively and perform under pressure in fast-paced environments. <br>
  • Physically fit for tasks requiring occasional lifting and prolonged standing. <br>
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is advantageous.

  • Primarily based in warehouse or construction site environments. <br>
  • May require outdoor tasks and travel to various project sites. <br>
  • Strict compliance with safety and organizational protocols is mandatory.
