About the Role
As Project Manager, Hotel Management, you will support the planning and delivery of hotel requirements for the Esports World Cup. Working closely with the Travel & Accommodation Manager and the Crew & Staff Hospitality Lead, you will coordinate data collection, reporting, and workflows for staff and player hotel bookings. This role focuses on ensuring requirements are accurately captured, communicated, and executed, contributing to the smooth delivery of accommodation operations across 3–6 hotels for thousands of staff and players.
Requirements
What you’ll do:
- Assist with budget tracking and cost monitoring
- Collect requirements from stakeholders and ensure deliverables meet expected standards
- In partnership with the T&A Manager
- Develop and implement workflows to streamline the data collection for over 2,000 internal staff and external contractors, and over 2,500 competing players, including creating a streamlined reporting process for management updates
- Ensure that the needs of staff and players are captured and communicated in a logical and streamlined process
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of accommodation planning and delivery for staff and players
- Adapt to changes in room needs and unexpected situations
What you need:
Must have:
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience
- Experience planning, initiating, monitoring, and implementing events together with a team
- Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to carry out several tasks at the same time
- Proven ability to adapt to changing requirements and resolve issues in real-time
- Strong attention to detail when managing large-scale datasets and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in the English language, both spoken and written
Nice to have:
- Experience, knowledge, and understanding of esports and gaming
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
