Network Security Engineer

The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for safeguarding the company’s IT infrastructure by implementing, monitoring, and maintaining advanced security measures. The role requires hands-on experience with industry-leading firewall technologies, proactive incident response, and the ability to ensure compliance with security standards. The successful candidate will play a critical role in protecting sensitive data, mitigating risks, and ensuring uninterrupted business operations.

🛡️ Key Responsibilities

• Manage and operate Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls, ensuring optimal configuration and performance. - Oversee daily network security operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and system health checks.
• Conduct incident response and support activities, ensuring timely resolution of security breaches and vulnerabilities.
• Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Perform regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate threats.
• Collaborate with IT teams to design and deploy secure network architectures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging cyber threats, tools, and technologies.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation on security incidents, system performance, and compliance audits.

🎯 Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Network Security Operations.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls.
• Proven ability to manage daily security operations, monitoring, and incident response/support.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other network security protocols.
• Experience with SIEM tools, log analysis, and threat intelligence platforms is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is an advantage).
