About the Role
Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical systems on offshore rigs and facilities. Ensures safe operations and compliance with company standards.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Perform emergency duties per safety protocols
- Install and maintain electrical systems and equipment
- Monitor power distribution and consumption
- Conduct routine inspections and enter maintenance logs
- Report failures and safety concerns to supervisors
- Ensure third-party equipment meets standards
- Participate in safety and competence programs
Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years offshore experience or 2 years as a Field Service Technician with companies like NOV, Cameron, Seatrax
- Completion of ARO’s On-the-Job Training (OJT) for electricians
- Strong understanding of offshore electrical systems
