Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with specialized experience in Firefighting Deluge Systems to support ongoing industrial operations at Tasnee, Jubail.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in the design, installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of deluge systems, particularly within petrochemical or heavy industrial environments.

This role requires a professional who can work independently, ensure compliance with safety standards, and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to maintain the highest level of fire protection readiness.

𑣲 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspection, testing, and maintenance of firefighting deluge systems in accordance with NFPA standards.
• Diagnose system faults, perform corrective actions, and ensure full operational reliability.
• Review engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications related to fire protection systems.
• Supervise installation, commissioning, and modification activities for deluge and associated firefighting systems.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with HSE, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure system integrity and safety compliance.
• Support emergency response readiness and participate in safety drills when required.
• Ensure all work is executed in line with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

𑣲 Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in firefighting deluge systems within industrial or petrochemical facilities.
• Strong understanding of NFPA standards, fire protection codes, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ready to join immediately under Ajeer contract.
