About the Role
A skilled Facility Electrical Engineer is required to support dayā€‘toā€‘day electrical operations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability improvement across building facilities in Jubail. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical engineering background and handsā€‘on experience managing electrical systems within commercial, industrial, or residential buildings. This role ensures uninterrupted facility operations, compliance with safety standards, and timely resolution of electrical issues.
The Facility Electrical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all electrical aspects of building maintenance, ensuring optimal performance of electrical infrastructure and supporting continuous facility operations.
Requirements
š‘£²Core Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on building electrical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in panels, distribution boards, lighting systems, motors, control circuits, and related equipment.
- Monitor and maintain electrical load distribution to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Supervise and coordinate with technicians and contractors during maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Prepare maintenance reports, checklists, and documentation for all electrical activities.
- Support shutdowns, emergency repairs, and rapid response to electrical breakdowns.
- Recommend improvements, upgrades, and energyā€‘efficient solutions for facility systems.
- Assist in planning and executing electrical maintenance schedules and asset management plans.
- Ensure proper functioning of backup power systems, including generators and UPS units.
š‘£²Mandatory Requirements
- Electrical Engineering background (Degree or Diploma).
- Relevant experience in electrical building maintenance commercial, industrial, or residential.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to operational needs.
- Experience in facility management environments is highly preferred.
