SAFETY OFFICER

A reputable construction company in Riyadh is seeking a highly skilled Safety Officer with strong experience in precast villa projects. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring full compliance with safety standards, minimizing risks on-site, and fostering a culture of safety across all project activities. This role requires hands-on field supervision, proactive hazard identification, and the ability to enforce safety protocols with authority and professionalism.

The Safety Officer will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to implement safety plans, conduct inspections, deliver toolbox talks, and ensure adherence to Saudi regulations and company policies. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills, leadership presence, and the ability to manage safety operations in fast-paced construction environments.

𑣲Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and project-specific safety plans.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard analyses for precast villa construction.
• Enforce corrective actions and ensure timely closure of safety violations.
• Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and training sessions for workers and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate documentation including incident reports, inspection logs, and safety records.
• Coordinate with project management to implement preventive measures and continuous safety improvements.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws, civil defense requirements, and company HSE policies.
• Investigate accidents or near-miss incidents and recommend preventive strategies.
• Promote a strong safety culture across all levels of the workforce.

𑣲Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Safety Officer experience in KSA.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in precast villa projects (mandatory). - Strong knowledge of HSE standards, risk management, and construction safety protocols.
• Certifications such as NEBOSH / OSHA / IOSH are preferred.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work long-term on large-scale residential projects in Riyadh.
