About the Role
The Inventory Control Officer is responsible for overseeing all inventory movements, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining precise stock levels across the station. This role plays a critical part in supporting operational efficiency by verifying shipments, reconciling invoices, monitoring packaging output, and managing daily financial transactions.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and verify monthly shipments exceeding 30,000 tons per station, ensuring accuracy against scale tickets.
- Reconcile and close all shipping invoices with suppliers, addressing and resolving any discrepancies.
- Monitor and verify the packaging machine counter daily to ensure alignment with actual quantities sold.
- Conduct regular inventory counts for packaging materials and spare parts.
- Review and clear daily customer deposits, including pre‑sales and direct customer transactions.
- Manage and document petty cash expenses related to station operations.
