(AP) Accountant

As an AP Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of accounts payable processes. Your responsibilities will include verifying, reconciling, and processing payment transactions, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and financial regulations.

1. Accounts Payable Management: <br>
   • Process invoices accurately and promptly, matching them to purchase orders and ensuring proper documentation. <br>
   • Handle payment transactions, including electronic funds transfers and check processing. <br>
   • Maintain detailed and organized records of all AP transactions.

2. Vendor Communication: <br>
   • Develop and maintain professional relationships with vendors to address payment issues and resolve discrepancies. <br>
   • Ensure timely responses to vendor inquiries to foster trust and collaboration.

3. Collections: <br>
   • Take proactive measures in managing collections and follow up on outstanding payments. <br>
   • Monitor accounts to reduce aging balances and improve cash flow.

4. Financial Analysis & Reporting: <br>
   • Perform reconciliation of vendor accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. <br>
   • Prepare regular financial reports and summaries related to accounts payable activities.

5. Compliance and Controls: <br>
   • Ensure adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and applicable financial regulations. <br>
   • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support the implementation of financial controls. <br> <br>

<b>- Requirements:</b> <br>

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. <br>
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in accounts payable and collections. <br>
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced knowledge of MS Excel. <br>
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. <br>
• Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
