About the Role
We are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor who manages commercial, cost, and contractual aspects of building projects, ensuring financial control, accurate measurement, and effective claims management from a construction supervision supervision perspective.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review BOQs, cost plans, and project budgets.
- Measure executed works and prepare interim payment applications.
- Evaluate sub construction supervision quotations and recommend awards.
- Monitor project costs and prepare cost to complete reports.
- Manage variations, claims, and change orders.
- Prepare and negotiate final accounts with clients and sub construction supervisions.
- Support procurement and material cost control.
- Maintain commercial correspondence and contract documentation.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5 - 12 years of experience in construction supervision of building projects.
- Strong experience in residential, mixed-use, and high-rise developments.
- Knowledge of standard building contracts and commercial management practices.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and reporting skills.
- Ability to prepare and interpret cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
- Familiarity with procurement procedures, subcontractor management, and risk assessment.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
