About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Receiving Inspector (Mechanical) to join our project team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands‑on experience in mechanical material inspections, vendor document review, and quality compliance within major oil & gas or petrochemical projects.

Professionals with prior ARAMCO project experience, strong knowledge of international inspection standards, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are strongly encouraged to apply. The Material Receiving Inspector will be responsible for inspecting incoming mechanical materials, verifying vendor documentation, and ensuring full compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and applicable industry standards. The role requires close coordination with contractors, project teams, and QA/QC personnel to ensure all materials are received, inspected, and accepted accurately and safely.


Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct receiving inspections for mechanical materials and verify all related vendor documentation
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and vendor reports prior to inspection activities
  • Coordinate inspection activities with contractor material teams, PMT, and PID
  • Support the QA/QC Manager, engineers, and supervisors in all inspection-related tasks
  • Oversee assigned quality control activities related to material receiving and verification
  • Perform witness inspections and tests in accordance with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITP)
  • Ensure all inspections comply with technical requirements, project specifications, and local regulations
  • Apply relevant international codes and standards during mechanical material inspections
  • Adhere to ISO 9001:2015 requirements, material specifications, and established QC procedures
  • Review documentation and verify contractor compliance with contractual obligations

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education

    • High School Certificate, Diploma, or Degree
    • Strong understanding of industry standards and specifications
  • Experience

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in oil & gas or petrochemical projects
    • At least 3 years’ experience as a Mechanical Material Receiving Inspector on ARAMCO project sites with EPC contractors
  • Skills & Knowledge

    • Strong knowledge of international codes and standards including ASTM, API, ASME, ANSI, NACE, AWS, IEC, and NFPA
    • Solid understanding of inspection and testing procedures
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
    • High attention to detail and strong commitment to quality
