Accountant

We are seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in accounting within the logistics, transportation, or customs clearance sector and a strong ability to manage financial records with accuracy and consistency.

In this role, you will oversee daily accounting activities and support financial processes related to logistics and customs operations. You will collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure all financial documentation, billing, and reporting are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Prepare monthly financial statements and assist with periodic financial reporting
• Manage customs‑related financial documentation, including VAT submissions, duty payments, and clearance cost tracking
• Perform bank, vendor, and account reconciliations, with a focus on transport and shipping invoices
• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure accurate billing for local and international shipments

Qualifications & Requirements

• Full professional fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or customs clearance is highly preferred
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting systems such as Tally, Odoo, or SAP
