Electrical Engineer

To participate in designing and troubleshooting across the entire electrical system to resolve any electrical difficulties. Reviews contractor and vendor documents. Prepares bid packages, cost and manpower estimates for all electrical maintenance work requested. Develop recommendations on various policies changes and procedures.

Skills

• Applies approved section policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner
• Applies the day-to-day operations assigned for the OND Department to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures
• Prepares complete electrical design packages that include detail design drawings, material take-off, conduct site survey, investigations
• Ensures drawings related to the projects conform to company engineering standards
• Reviews and calculates loads, relay coordination, transient stability, fault analysis to ensure proper operations of electrical systems
• Troubleshoots and investigates abnormal problems and provides remedial recommendations
• Coordinates and controls all the aspects of projects and the various Engineering disciplines to ensure full integration
• Prepares concept designs with cost estimates to provide the proponent department with budget estimates to obtain JOC funding
• Ensures the implementation of Saudi Arabian and International standards to align with company requirements
• Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports for section in order to meet
• Company and section requirements, policies and standards
• Complies with all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
• Performs other related duties or assignments as directed
• Assists Maintenance and Operations in Constructions, testing & commissioning activities

Education

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering
