Electrical Technician

To carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance for Operations according to the set schedules and work orders in line to the standards and specification of KJO to ensure smooth and minimize downtime of operation

Skills:

• Policies, Processes and Procedures

  • Applies approved section policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner

• Day- to-day operations

  • Applies the day-to-day operations assigned for the section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures

• Maintenance

  • Checks daily to ensure normal operations according to standards and procedures
  • Repairs and /or replaces parts found to be defective, reassembles overhauled equipment and carries out necessary tests and performance monitoring during start-up for optimal performance
  • Follows instruction to check and fix equipment as directed to ensure minimum downtime
  • Conducts preventive maintenance according to PM schedule and plan to ensure optimal effectiveness of stations
  • Confirms maintenance reliability check sheet to ensure completion of all task assigned and planned

• Reporting

  • Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports for section in order to meet Company and section requirements, policies and standards

• Safety, Health & Environment

  • Complies with all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment

• Related Assignments

  • Performs other related duties or assignments as directed

Education

• Electrical Diploma
