About the Role
To ensure effective coordination and provision of a full range of general business services within EDD, review, update department planning calendars, business and operating plans to ensure smooth flow of activities related within the Department.

Policies, Processes and Procedures
- Follows all relevant section policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner

Day- to-day operations
- Follows the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the Mechanical Workshop Section to ensure continuity of work.

General Administration
- Undertakes general business administration activities in office planning and management in the department.

Logistic Support
- Coordinates official reporting, communication and meeting arrangements.
- Makes all arrangements for visitors to the department including accommodation, transportation, permits, general guidance and coordination with other departments in KJO.

Record Keeping
- Establishes and maintains records and filing systems (hard and soft) and arranges for the efficient operation of office equipment to ensure the department or manager can function effectively and efficiently.

Reports
- Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate departmental reports to meet department requirements, policies and standards.

Safety, Health & Environment
- Complies with all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment

Education
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration
