To provide guidance to all visualization centre users coordinate & conduct visualization centre programs providing services of high standards to end-user while promoting team work within the department employees and ensuring adequate technical support Departments operations.

• Policies, Processes and Procedures

  • Complies with division’s policies, processes & procedures and ensure all relevant procedural / legislative requirements are fulfilled.

• Day- to-day operations

  • Executes the day-to-day operations assigned for Visualization Centre ensuring compliance with the established standards and procedures.

• Visualization Centre Administration

  • Identifies end-user requirements on technical support and information, study their expectations and design and implement a suitable framework for meeting these requirements through the Visualization Centre.
  • Identifies the portfolio of software and hardware products and systems needed for the Visualization Centre and supports the Supervisor in negotiations with vendors for cost-effective, high quality solutions.
  • Designs appropriate training modules for Visualization Centre users and ensure they are provided requisite training to be able to deliver high quality performance ensuring maximum usage of the facility.

  • Coordinate & conduct visualization centre programs providing services of high standards to end-user while promoting team work within the department employees and ensuring adequate technical support to Departments operations.
  • Coordinates and executes video conferencing meetings for the department and the company as instructed and ensures optimum utilization of the Visualization Centre.

• Coordination with Contractors

  • Contributes & supports the identification & technical evaluation of service providers and coordinates and provides technical support in the execution of all contracts related to Visualization Centre to ensure that both contracting parties fulfil their obligations; Reports any variances to the Supervisor.

Continuous Improvement

• Researches new and improved methods and recommends implementation of new technology to increase the standard of Visualization Centre services as well as departmental efficiency.

Education

• Bachelor degree in Geology
