Environment Engineer

To assist in the planning of technical aspects of Al-Khafji Joint Operations and department’s environment activities to minimize environmental risks and promote environment protection and pollution control

Skills

• Policies, Processes and Procedures

  • Applies approved section policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner

• Day- to-day operations

  • Applies the day-to-day operations assigned for the section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures

• Technical support

  • Examines engineering work of plant construction / replacement / renovation for environmental impact assessment to provide technical advice to secure compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines
  • Assists in routine checks, replenishing necessary supplies and inviting manufacturer’s engineer to ensure maintenance of various environmental monitor stations

• Environmental monitoring

  • Checks and reviews the specifications of all the projects from the planning stage to evaluate and proposes the changes of specifications of projects from the viewpoint of environmental management

• Communication

  • Assists with drafting responses to technical inquiry or request made by the Government authorities and other organizations concerned in environmental issues to ensure environment protection and pollution control

• Reporting

  • Prepares section reports in a timely and accurate manner to meet Company and section requirements, policies and standards

• Safety, Health & Environment

  • Complies with all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment

• Related Assignments

  • Performs other related duties or assignments as directed

Education

• Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering
