About the Role
The Financial Reconciliation Associate Manager plays a critical leadership role in safeguarding the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the organization’s financial operations. This position is responsible for overseeing end‑to‑end reconciliation activities across bank accounts, general ledger balances, sub‑ledgers, and key financial interfaces. The role ensures that all financial data is complete, consistent, and compliant with internal controls, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
The manager leads the daily operational control environment, ensuring timely identification, investigation, and resolution of discrepancies. This includes managing accruals, liabilities, and month‑end closing cycles with precision and discipline. The role acts as a strategic business partner to Finance, Operations, and IT teams, ensuring that the ERP system reflects accurate financial information and that all integrations and workflows operate smoothly.
A major focus of this role is driving continuous improvement. The Financial Reconciliation Associate Manager will champion automation initiatives, streamline reconciliation processes, enhance system configurations, and implement best‑practice controls to increase efficiency, reduce manual work, and strengthen financial governance. The position requires strong analytical capability, leadership maturity, and the ability to collaborate across departments to elevate financial accuracy and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily reconciliation of bank accounts, general ledger balances, and financial sub‑ledgers.
- Oversee accruals, liabilities, and month‑end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies, audit standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Serve as a key business partner to Finance, Operations, and IT teams to ensure ERP data integrity and system reliability.
- Drive process improvement, automation, and workflow optimization across reconciliation and financial control functions.
- Develop and maintain reconciliation frameworks, SOPs, and documentation to support operational consistency.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documents.
- Monitor system performance, identify gaps, and collaborate with IT to enhance ERP functionality and reporting accuracy.
- Train and mentor team members to strengthen technical capabilities and ensure high‑quality output.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience
- 5 - 7 years of experience in financial operations, reconciliation, or financial control roles.
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) is highly preferred.
- Prior experience in process improvement, automation, or financial systems optimization is an advantage.

- Strong understanding of general ledger structures, accounting principles, and reconciliation methodologies.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, variance investigation, and root‑cause identification.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial automation tools.
