Civil Engineer

To design installation or remodelling of sewage and water distribution works, troubleshooting and activities for assigned areas of offices, workshops, company houses, residential buildings, community facilities, and other miscellaneous buildings of the company, as well as specified government buildings sponsored by the Company. Complete detailed designs and maintenance reviews for sewage and water works contracted and tendered

• Policies, Processes and Procedures

  • Applies approved section policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner

• Day- to-day operations

  • Applies the day-to-day operations assigned for the Electrical Section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures

• Sewage and Water System Designs and Specifications

  • Prepares required designs and specifications of Sewage and Water systems, based on architectural drawings and plans prepared in the division for new construction or remodelling.

  • Calculates and determines Sewage and Water systems loads and capacities, through discussions with engineers in charge of building design and prepares budgetary estimates for new project proposals entailing construction or remodelling.

• Technical Advice and Instructions

  • Provides engineers in charge of installation/remodelling, as well as contractor’s engineers and technician, with technical advice to resolve troubles caused by unexpected constraints on site, design errors

• Reporting

  • Prepares section reports in a timely and accurate manner to meet Company and section requirements, policies and standards

• Safety, Health & Environment

  • Complies with all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment

• Related Assignments

  • Performs other related duties or assignments as directed

Education

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering
