IT System Analyst

To develop, modify and maintain support for all SAP modules implemented in KJO such as Financial & Accounting, Production/PM/PS, HR & Payroll, Material Management, E-Tending, etc., providing optimum support for all SAP Application development and maintenance to meet business requirements.

• Policies, Processes and Procedures

  • Applies approved section policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.

• Day- to-day operations

  • Applies the day-to-day operations assigned for the System Administration Section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.

• Project Management

  • Participates in organising and supervising activities and work of the contractors to ensure that all work agreed upon is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with the organisation requirements and is in line with operating procedures and policy.

• Application Performance

  • Conducts as instructed diagnostics of the functional SAP Modules, servers and database systems to evaluate its performance in order to make appropriate recommendations in enhancing the IT service.

• Process Definition

  • Liaises with representatives of small functional areas to understand their requirements and definitions of basic business processes so that SAP systems can be configured to meet user information and requirements.
  • Develops, modifies and maintains support for all SAP modules such as Financial & Accounting, Production/PM/PS, HR & Payroll, Material Management, E-Tending, etc., to meet KJO’s business requirements.

• SAP Application

  • Amends module functionality as directed to ensure that SAP is able to meet user information requirements on an ongoing basis and that respective module continue to reflect business processes.
  • Participates in technical designs, prototyping, configuration, system and necessary testing of the SAP Functional Applications in order to ensure alignment of the same with the respective business processes.

• SAP Systems Performance and Monitoring

  • Proactively monitors and assists in the support of the respective module architecture environments in order to ensure efficient trouble shooting and tuning of the system at the SAP and database levels.

• Application Acceptance Tests

  • Witnesses and attends application acceptance tests of completed projects to verify that the applications work in order to make the necessary closures and recommendations to the project.

• Operational Improvement

  • Identifies opportunities for improvements to processes/procedures in SAP Application operations and make recommendations in implementing appropriate systems.

• Reporting

  • Prepares section reports in a timely and accurate manner to meet Company and section requirements, policies and standards

• Safety, Health & Environment

  • Complies with all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment

• Related Assignments

  • Performs other related duties or assignments as directed

Education

• Bachelor degree in Information Technology
