About the Role
To procure goods and services in accordance with the purchasing procedures and objectives, in a competitive and prudent manner, to ensure that the operational requirements of the user departments are maintained at the highest standards possible, thereby providing an efficient and effective support to the entire procurement functions through the Purchasing Superintendent

Policies, Processes and Procedures
- Applies approved section policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner

Day- to-day operations
- Applies the day-to-day operations assigned for the Purchasing Section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures

Bid Comparisons
- Prepares bid comparison sheets for evaluation by tabulating offer prices and other commercial terms in order to make recommendations for a lowest bid.
- Coordinates and shares technical evaluation comparison sheets, as well as other accompanying documents submitted by bidders, to end user departments for evaluation after reviews of supervisor

Tender Notifications
- Notifies all bidders of a final result of tender, or cancellation, when JTC reaches a conclusion to award/cancel a tender in order to provide status updates of the tender

Procurement
- Procures goods and materials requested by proponent department either by open or close tenders to ensure users are provided with their operational needs in order to support the organization

Purchase Requisition
- Sorts out PRs according to supply channels in order to ensure that unit prices, order lots and other specifications are properly expressed in accordance with supply contract terms

Tender Packages
- Prepares adequate copies of tender document by compiling quotation sheets, general terms of tender, and other accompanying documents prepared by materials in order to ensure that tender packages have complete and accurate documentations

Coordination
- Coordinates with government offices in terms of foreign purchases and deliveries to ensure that deliveries are properly released in order to be delivered to proponent department on time

Reporting
- Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports for section in order to meet Company and section requirements, policies and standards

Safety, Health & Environment
- Complies with all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment

Education
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration
