• Policies, Processes and Procedures

  • Applies approved section policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner
  • Day- to-day operations Applies the day-to-day operations assigned for the Enterprise Risk Management Section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures

• System Management and Operations

  • Own and oversee the operation of risk management systems, ensuring their functionality, reliability, and security.
  • Customize system configurations to meet the organization's risk management needs and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
  • Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance to address any issues or discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the availability and optimization of risk management software and hardware.

• Data Management and Analysis

  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive database of risk-related information, including hazard assessments, incident records, and mitigation plans.
  • Collect, validate, and input data into the risk management systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to defined standards.
  • Generate reports, analytics, and visualizations to support risk assessment, monitoring, and reporting activities.
  • Analyze data trends, identify emerging risks, and provide insights to support decision-making processes.

• Risk Assessment and Mitigation Support

  • Collaborate with risk assessment teams to define and implement standardized risk assessment methodologies and frameworks.
  • Provide guidance and support in conducting risk assessments, including identification, analysis, and evaluation of risks.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
  • Monitor and track the progress of risk mitigation activities, ensuring timely completion and effectiveness.

• Training and Stakeholder Support

  • Develop and deliver training programs on risk management systems and processes to enhance user proficiency and understanding.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users of the risk management systems, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including risk owners and department heads, to ensure effective utilization of risk management systems.
  • Support the communication of risk-related information, reports, and insights to key stakeholders.

• Reporting

  • Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports for section in order to meet Company and section requirements, policies and standards

• Safety, Health & Environment

  • Complies with all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment

• Additional Responsibilities

  • The post holder may be required to undertake additional duties, which may be reasonably expected and forms part of the function of the post

Education

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration
