To carry out administrative tasks of a department / section to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

- Applies approved section policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner

Day- to-day operations
- Applies the day-to-day operations assigned own section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures

Administrative Tasks
- Takes appointments and schedules meetings
- Performs administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations
- Follows-up to ensure transactions are completed as requested and in a timely manner
- Coordinates with other departments to facilitate bureaucratic procedures
- Orders office supplies as required to ensure stock is always available for department usage
- Notifies IT of any issues and follows-up to ensure satisfactory resolution
- Coordinates with caterers regarding lunch and for other occasions ensuring preparations are made as required
- Prepares response to incoming correspondence to ensure department’s / section’s views are clearly presented

Reporting
- Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports for section in order to meet Company and section requirements, policies and standards

Safety, Health & Environment
- Complies with all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment

Education
- Diploma in Secretarial Studies
