About the Role
We are seeking a skilled System Administration Officer to support and maintain the company’s IT systems and infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring system reliability, availability, and performance while providing first-line technical support across business systems. The ideal candidate will contribute to smooth IT operations and support departmental objectives in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support for company systems (e.g., HR systems, SAP).
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain servers, applications, and IT systems.
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability to ensure maximum uptime.
- Manage system backups, data storage, and recovery processes.
- Support database administration activities, including performance monitoring and optimization.
- Maintain IT hardware, software, and network systems.
- Prepare assigned IT reports as directed by the IT Supervisor.
- Comply with HSE policies, company procedures, and training requirements.
- Support departmental initiatives and projects as required.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in system administration or IT support.

Strong technical knowledge of system monitoring, backups, and hardware/software maintenance.

Basic training or knowledge in system administration and database administration (DBA).

Experience in a power plant, manufacturing, or industrial environment is preferred.
