MEP Engineer

We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to join one of our active construction projects in Jizan on a freelance, site-based assignment. This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong professional who thrives in fast-paced project environments and enjoys solving real engineering challenges on the ground.

As the project’s MEP Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting daily site operations and ensuring that all MEP works are executed safely, accurately, and in line with approved standards. You will collaborate closely with project managers, consultants, contractors, and site teams to keep the project moving smoothly and efficiently.

This is a hands-on role suited for someone who takes ownership, pays attention to detail, and enjoys seeing work progress directly on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing and supporting all MEP construction activities on site
• Reviewing drawings and coordinating with civil, architectural, and other engineering teams
• Ensuring proper installation of electrical, communication, strong-current, and low-current systems
• Identifying and resolving technical issues during construction
• Monitoring quality of work and assisting with inspections
• Supporting testing, commissioning, and final handover activities
• Maintaining accurate and organized project documentation
• Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations, project specifications, and international standards
• Assisting the project team in maintaining progress and meeting schedule targets

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of experience in MEP construction or project engineering
• At least 5 years of experience on projects of similar scale
• Valid professional qualification certificates (Jizan region preferred)
• Ability to successfully pass the Royal Commission (RC) interview
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, communication, strong-current, and low-current systems
• Skilled in reviewing drawings and coordinating across multiple disciplines
• Proactive in identifying issues and proposing practical solutions
• Familiarity with Saudi building codes and international engineering standards
• Professional, reliable, and collaborative team player
• Must be currently residing in Saudi Arabia
