About the Role
The MEP Draftsman will prepare detailed technical drawings for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems based on engineering designs and project requirements. The role requires precision, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate with engineering and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Review design drawings and convert them into accurate technical drafts.
- Coordinate with civil, architectural, and structural teams to avoid clashes.
- Update drawings based on site conditions, engineer instructions, and project changes.
- Maintain drawing logs, documentation, and revision history.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and codes.
- Assist engineers in preparing material take-offs and technical submissions.
- Conduct site visits when required to verify dimensions and installation accuracy.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or technical certification in Drafting/MEP.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in MEP drafting (GCC experience preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Transferable Iqama preferred.
