About the Role
The Mechanical Engineer will oversee the installation, alignment, and commissioning of mechanical equipment within a steel pipe manufacturing facility. The role requires hands‑on expertise in heavy industrial machinery and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment in steel pipe production lines.
- Lead installation activities for Heat Treatment Line and Finishing Line equipment.
- Review engineering drawings, equipment layouts, and installation procedures.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and QA/QC requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
- Prepare progress reports, installation checklists, and mechanical documentation.
Mandatory Requirements
- Experience in steel pipe manufacturing plant equipment installation.
- Strong knowledge of Heat Treatment Line and Finishing Line machinery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to manage installation teams and ensure timely execution.
