About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our project execution team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in mechanical systems, hands-on site execution experience, and the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple disciplines. This role requires proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings, preparing BOQs and MTOs, supervising site works, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements. The Mechanical Engineer will play a key role in supporting project delivery from installation through testing, commissioning, and final handover.


🔹Key Responsibilities

Technical & Engineering Duties

  • Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on approved mechanical drawings and project specifications.
  • Review, interpret, and verify mechanical drawings, layouts, P&IDs, isometrics, and technical specifications.
  • Execute and supervise mechanical works including HVAC, piping, plumbing, firefighting, and equipment installation.
  • Prepare Material Take-Offs (MTO) and raise material requisitions as required.

Site Execution & Coordination

  • Plan and manage site activities including material planning, manpower allocation, and work sequencing.
  • Supervise installation works to ensure full compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with electrical, civil, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
  • Monitor site progress, productivity, and workmanship quality, identifying and resolving issues proactively.

Testing, Commissioning & Documentation

  • Assist in testing, commissioning, and system handover activities.
  • Ensure strict implementation of HSE policies, safety procedures, and company standards.
  • Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, maintain site records, and support preparation of as-built documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 2–5 years of experience in mechanical site execution (EPC or construction projects preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, and material estimation.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, and technical specifications.
  • Practical experience in site supervision and mechanical system installation.
  • Familiarity with relevant mechanical codes and standards.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures for mechanical systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks under demanding site conditions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
