About the Role
The Cost Assistant supports the Cost Control Department in monitoring daily operational expenses, ensuring accurate cost recording, and maintaining compliance with internal financial procedures. This role is essential for maintaining profitability and operational efficiency across all restaurant branches.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in tracking daily food, beverage, and supply costs.
- Support in preparing cost variance reports and weekly/monthly cost summaries.
- Verify purchase invoices, delivery notes, and stock transfers.
- Coordinate with kitchen and purchasing teams to ensure accurate recipe costing.
- Monitor wastage, consumption patterns, and stock discrepancies.
- Maintain updated cost databases and assist in menu engineering analysis.
Requirements
- Experience in cost control within the restaurant or F&B sector.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in English and MS Excel.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
