About the Role
The Purchasing Manager oversees the entire procurement cycle, ensuring the timely and cost‑effective sourcing of high‑quality products and materials. This role requires strong negotiation skills, supplier management, and strategic planning to support restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with business needs.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and quality.
- Manage purchase orders, contracts, and supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with operations, finance, and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Monitor market trends, pricing changes, and supply chain risks.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong negotiation and vendor‑management skills.
- Excellent communication in English.
- Ability to manage multiple suppliers and high‑volume purchasing.
